Deconstruction.

It’s always amazing to use a phone with so many functions but yet with such a simple exterior, what lies is the complicated interior. Picture 1 is the phone before deconstructing it and picture 2 is the phone after deconstruction. 

My 3D fundamentals teacher have taught our class about deconstruction and I thought it was easy until I did it myself. It is not easy !  You may think that it is just the smashing of phones or even just tearing it apart. But NO, it is to actually to dissect this phone with care as you do not want any of the items to get broken while taking it apart as it is delicate on the inside. 

This handphone was my first touch-screen handphone that I have had when I was like secondary one, and I treasure it a lot. It has indeed served me well and so, I have decided to deconstruct it and reconstruct it into something else, so that it can continue ‘living’ with it’s newly reconstructed self. 

I look forward in reconstructing this very phone into something else!

One of the many people who gives me endless inspiration as well as music to hype me up is Lady Gaga . Some people may say that she is weird and is constantly judging the way she acts but to me, she is beautiful in her own way and she was born this way , baby ! 

Her dress codes, her songs and her attitude towards life, I would say, it is unique. She has always been in the spotlight for her fashion sense and in the top charts for her music ! Oh yeah ! Recently she also released her new single, titled “APPLAUSE” was awesome. It is just simply so addictive.

 I must have been a huge fan of hers for a long time ever since she released her first song, Poker Face and I even sketch her out (without her face though, hehe) back in 2011 (Picture 3) ! Even while doing this blog post, Applause is on my playlist! Woohoo!

Home-cooked food.

Dinner time! This time, I’m cooking again. Simple dishes yet rich in flavor. Picture 1, Sweet & Spicy Garlic Prawns. Picture 2, Fried eggs. Last but not least, Picture 3, Assam Fish. 

Don’t mind the prawns with those “feelers” on them! I was abit lazy to cut them off. What matters most is the food tastes great! The food may not look that appetizing but I swear it taste good. Haha. I always cook through estimation and never once follow any cookbooks or recipe. 

Just cook and not let anything hold you back ! Cooking is fun man ! Okay, I know I am not like a Michelin-starred chef like people like Gordon Ramsay (Oh gosh, He’s good in cooking) or anything, but I’m sure it’s satisfying enough and can fill our hungry tummies.  Okay, back to doing my work !

Bro.

The person above, is what I would call my true friend, a brother and someone who gives me advices whenever I am down or encounter any problem. Despite not knowing each another since young or anything, we somehow met during back in our secondary school days and became friends, always making fun of each another.

At that time, he was just like a Hi- Bye friend which I didn’t take to consideration. It was when at Secondary Four, we were having our ‘N’ Levels, and we started to interact with each another more. At that time,  we became good friends. We passed our ‘N’ Levels and got promoted to Secondary Five. That was the year when we started to study together, eat together more often and even go out together to relieve stress through going to our favorite hangout place at Orchard. 

I still remember always going to Ang Mo Kio Library to study there with him. He would always try to help me with my weakest subject, Mathematics. He has always been there for me. We pressed on and managed to score relatively well for our ‘O’ levels.

After the ‘O’ levels, we also worked as sales assistants, enjoying our holidays together with our other friends too etc. Even after we quit in early March,  we go to the gym to workout regularly to the extend of 3 times a week ! Although he and I went to different schools, we still would meet up every now and then to catch up on so many things.We have unlimited subjects to talk about and we can just sit under a void deck and talk all day without running out of subjects ! 

I don’t trust people that easily, but this guy over here, earned my trust, my respect and this is the kind of brother I would treasure like how I treasure my family. He is like and elder brother to me! He is someone that cannot be described fully with just words alone.

 I really do hope that we can continue this awesome friendship of ours, always going crazy together, talking about stupid stuffs and gossips and more importantly, the trust will remain strong !

Perspectives

Today, I have decided to post one of the perspective that I  drew in the past ! It’s the perspective of a view of Singapore as seen from the peak of the Singapore Flyer. This sketch of the perspective was drawn around 2 years ago. 

I was really amazed by how the Singapore Flyer was made and also the structure of the Singapore of Flyer looks fabulous. I still remember the time that I first went on the flyer to have my first view from the top and the feeling was indescribable. 

Everything from above simply looks so small as if I was a giant overlooking the well-developed city. Till now, I have been on the Flyer numerous times already, the view is always ever-changing. That is why I drew a perspective of the Singapore Flyer.  It is one of a must go places in Singapore ! 

Oh gosh, I sound like a tourist now despite me being a Singaporean. Hehe.
