Superb Salmon

It’s finally FRIDAY ! And I have decided to do some cooking and Salmon is one of my favorite food! Yes ! I bought a rather large portion of salmon and decided to cook it! I may not be a fussy eater but I am a rather fussy cook. When I cook, I like my things to be cooked perfectly. HAHA.

 Crispy skin on the outside, soft melting salmon meat in the inside. And, I have used mangoes for this time round to be added with my salmon to balance it out.  It just tastes great! When cooking fish, I am extremely careful as I don’t really like the fishy taste that the fish gives off but it’s high in nurtients, HIGH IN PROTEIN !!!!

 Also, I don’t like ginger despite it can help kill the fishy taste. So, I always have my own methods of removing the fishy taste making it awesome. I love cooking for my family and they are like my guinea pigs for my new dishes but i definitely hate washing the plates haha. My sister hates to eat fish no matter where is it from, but whenever she knows I’m cooking fish for example salmon, she would be more than glad to eat it. YEAH! Achievement I guess.

Udders Ice-Cream!

Hola ! It has been a relatively busy weekend for me, with moutains of assignments piling up for me to finish ! Stress is building up and it sure isn’t fun when you know you are going to get into trouble with your lecturers should you not finish your work! Haha.

I have been doing my homeworks and assignments over the weekend but I still didn’t forget about my ownself. Hence, last Sunday, I have decided to get out to have my dinner at Serangoon Gardens’ Chomp Chomp and went on to give myself an ice cool treat !

The ice-cream that I have ate is from Udders and it’s very good! The flavors are Green-tea-rific (Green) , Strawberry field ( Pink ) ,  D24 Durian ( Yellow )  and Kit Kiat Chocolate ( Brown ). It’s so good! Why are there two bowls of ice-cream you may ask? Because I have decided to give my little sister a TREAT. She has too, been working hard for her examinations and as her brother I have decided to reward her with alittle something. Okay, I do spoil her a little bit. I'm her older brother after all.

The ice-cream that we have had, may look simple with just one colour, but yet it is filled with flavor and bursting out the true colours of the ice-cream. I have always felt that colours are always an important asset to our daily life. Without colours, what would life be? In black and white ? That would be way too boring.

It is the simple colours like this, sometimes added with alittle black or white, that makes the world a much more livelier place to live in and allow us to see the TRUE colours of each object and being. Each colours always represent something. Green is often used to represent jealousy , Pink is usually used to represent tenderness , Yellow often to represent excitement and Brown is the colour that represents security.

Each and every colour has it’s own feelings and meanings to it, just like us, humans. Interesting isn’t it?

Cute Cats

DRAWING has always been part of my life and have always drawn since I was young. So, I have decided to upload this picture that I have sketched before coming to NAFA.  

I kind of randomly chose this picture to draw but I do love cats ! One of the many pets that I would love to have is cats ! Oh my god, I love animals. Especially when I first saw the picture of these 2 cats on the internet, I was determined to draw them as they are so cute to the max !  But after all it’s just a sketch, it may not be so detailed as what you see in pictures though.

 One of the reason was also to try to brush up my skills for not sketching for awhile. I have been working as a sales assistant for close to 5 months and been going to the gym as well as going out, resulting in me not being able to sketch more sketches ! 

But I will try to continue to sketch more sketches but school work is taking almost all my time ! ARGH. I don’t care ! I am just going to try to make it a habit to sketch as much as I can for my ownself! Got to do what I love man !

GYM !!!

Hello there! Recently I have been so busy with my school work that I’m kind of neglecting my usual work out routine to go to the gym. 

I have been sleeping so little and burning so much midnight oil that I also recently fell sick and was down with a slight fever. But now that I have recovered alittle, I have decided to dedicate some of my precious time into working out. 

 Training a wide range of body parts from biceps , triceps , forearm , back , legs and chest ! No pain no gain right?  Nowadays, I have hardly any time to head down to the gym but I have decided that this won’t do. So, last Saturday , I dedicated my 2 hours of time which should be spent on doing assignments to head to the gym ! 

  Although I have dumbbells at home to do some home-workout, but nothing beats the wide range of equipments at the gym for you to use right?! There is only so much you can do with just dumbbells only at home… IF only I have a room dedicated for gym equipments ! How nice could that be? But it will be impossible. The equipments are way too expensive. Haha. Sometimes, i just wonder why dumbbells are in certain shapes. Who knows next time there will be like dumbbells shaped in a triangular form or something ! It will be cool! 

 Ugh. Gym isn't always easy. It’s hard to gain, but I will still do it. Being healthy is important after all.  GYM TIMEEEEE !!!!

Band of Brothers.

Today yet again , is another day to be added to my precious memory. I was very thrilled as I got to meet up with my secondary school mates and have a great dinner together at Astons @ Scape! Despite going to different tertiary schools, we still keep in contact together and we make sure we try to meet up every now and then just to catch up.

 In just this group of friends alone, most of us are spreaded out in different schools such as all the polytechnics such as Republic Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic and the Institute of Technical Education, and here I am, in NAFA. 

Although I am like the only one here, but never once was we separated by being in different schools. These friends of mine are like brothers to me, a band of brothers. Always taking care of each another, encouraging each another when we are down and the times we have been through together are priceless. 

The ‘O’ levels examination wasn’t an easy exam, and being from the Normal Academic stream,  from secondary 4 NA to secondary 5 NA was a huge jump and even some of us couldn’t cope with the stress and yet, we still did it and passed the examinations! Life isn’t always going to be easy but as long as you persevere and work hard , together with your friends and family that stand by you, you will succeed.

 This is what I believe in, and these people are like my family as well. A big family, filled with only brothers!
