Delicious Food.

(Picture 1)

 (Picture 2)

Today, dinner was alittle different. I have met up with some friends of mine and went to “chomp chomp” , a pretty famous hawker centre at Serangoon Gardens. It’s been awhile since we have met but we sure have eaten there to our heart’s content!

There is not only a wide variety of food being served there but also the price quite reasonable, just slightly more expensive than normal hawker centres though. We have ordered food like grilled sambal stingray , fried carrot cake , satays , chicken wings and the drinks there are so ridiculously huge that can last you for the entire dinner without having to order a new one (Picture 1). All of the foods that I have mentioned is always a must order food whenever I head over there to eat.

The food may be high in calories which is very bad for me but I guess it’s okay for me to eat such delicacies once in awhile right? Guess i will just have to work out in the gym more often to burn those calories ! Guilty pleasures of life I guess , Haha. After dinner, we went to a nearest void deck to relax and to help one of my friend with a project which needed us to role-play as certain characters which he will take photos for his project.

Since he needed our help for his project, we were all okay with helping him. Afterall friends always help each another ! We had fun taking pictures and after helping him, we were alittle bored so we decided to do some ridiculous stuff as can be seen from Picture 2. And yes, that's me in the middle doing the punching the floor thing, making everyone fly with my impact. It was certainly fun taking random photos like this!

After all, photography is also a form of art that exist to capture moments that are memorable.

Self-Introduction.

Hey ! I’m back , this time with my very own self-introduction of myself ! Sorry that I had took so long just to have a self-introduction. I was looking through my blog earlier and I felt that something was  missing and that was my self-introduction. How can one not introduce one’s self from the very beginning?! Anyways , heres my side of my story, my introduction and my life.

I’m currently 17 years old this year, a January baby born on the 1st of January and I’m currently studying in NAFA. I’m pretty much a simple, out-going but sensitive person as a whole.

I always believe in mutual respect and treating everyone with sincerity. Some people may say I’m cold and that I may look like a bully from the first impression they have for me, but trust me, get to know me, and I’m not what I look like. Do not judge a book by it’s cover is what I always believe in and I will always, too be not quick to judge who you are unless I know you well.

I have pretty much interesting hobbies to keep me well-entertained whenever I’m bored. I don’t deny the fact that I’m big sized but I love going to the GYM to workout whenever I can and whenever I’m free as I believe in keeping fit and healthy.  Sometimes, I would even head down to the nearby park connector and run to my heart’s content, sweat everything out like nobody’s business. I like to cook too ! Being able to cook your own meals and for your family and friends is such an awesome thing to do and fun experience.( I would say I am second to my mother who is definitely a better cook than me! Haha.)

During my free time, I would also sit down the entire day, with pencils of all grades and my sketchbook to draw many things from organic items to animals and even still life. I must say, all of these hobbies are like part of my life, can never be apart from me as these hobbies are all part of me !

Moving on, I also have a favorite drink ! That is Green Tea !!!! (Sometimes, i would go for milk or soya bean milk too !)I don’t like any carbonated drinks like coca-cola or such as they are high in sugar content  and are unhealthy for your health ! As for foods, I am easy going and consume any type food that is being placed on the table.  I hate wasting food as I feel that it is a luxury to have food being placed on the table and one should never waste it ! Haha.

I guess that’s about the basic self-introduction that I have for myself ! I also accept any suggestions/criticism about my behavior, like the way I talk etc. as I always believe that one should always try to improve one’s self. I am flawed , not perfect.

As quoted from Dan Jansen, “ I do not try to be better than anyone else,
I only try to be better than myself.”

Calm waves, cool skies.

What’s up! Today’s blog post would be alittle different from those pictures that I have taken as I have decided to paint a picture instead! It is a perspective of a Beach!

Some people like their beach to be filled with people or even things to play with, but I kind of like a beach that is much more simpler and less people. Despite it being simple looking, I have tried to make everything very soothing for the mind.

RELAX , is the keyword for my this very water-color painting. The skies I have depicted is to be very soft, and yet filled with sufficient blue to keep the sky moving like as if there are cotton candies up there for us to eat. Everybody love some mild and cooling wind; The “wind” that I have in this picture can be seen from the small waves forming.

Little wind, small waves equals the best beach experience! If I can have a getaway, this is the kind of place I would like to be in with my friends and family of course! Although sometimes being alone can help me relax more but with friends and family accompanying you, what more can you ask for right?

When we are at the beach, let's just keep Calm like the waves and cool like the skies!

As quoted from Josef Albers, “Color is the most relative medium in art.”

Fantastic Friends. Current Life in NAFA.

Hello there ! As of now, three weeks have passed in Nanyang Academy Of Fine Arts and for the three weeks it has been awesome !

I still remember getting the letter (Picture 1) by NAFA around March or April that I have passed the entrance exam that I have taken and I was accepted in to the school. I was very thrilled and afraid at the same time as I didn’t know if I would have friends there or whether I would do well in an arts school.

During orientation, I didn’t dare to talk to anyone as I was uncertain if the people here will be friendly or not. However, during orientation, i have gotten to know people like Lynson (Picture 2 on the left with a red hoodie) and KianHoe(Picture 2 wearing a black shirt) when I joined the orientation camp. They were wild, cool and funny!

However, I was alittle sad that we were separated by the classes we got into. But, it was than I got to know a girl in the same class as me.VA1H by the name of Princess (Picture 3) that soon joined our group! We now would often meet up together for lunch every now and then. Three weeks into learning in the school and I have met great friends that are awesome and i can be crazy with !

As quoted from Mark Twain, “ Good Friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience; this is the ideal life.”
